I have been competing in triathlons as an age-group athlete since 2003. I started with a sprint distance and worked my way over several years to Ironman distance.
Along the way, I have also:
Completed marathons in London, Paris, Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia
Taken part in 3 L’etape du Tours - single day stages of the Tour De France for cycling enthusiasts
Several Cyclosportifs including Amstel Gold in the Netherlands and Tour Of Flanders in Belgium.
I completed my first Ironman triathlon in Nice, France in 2008 and followed it up with additional races in St. George, Utah; Woodlands, Texas; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Lake Tahoe, California; Madison, Wisconsin; and Lake Placid, NY. In 2018 I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to take part in the Ironman World Championships in Kona, my 15th Ironman.
Like a lot of Ironman competitors I have had quite a personal journey that got me to where I am. If you would like to know more then take some time to read my story
Apart from spending time with my family my other hobbies are Skiing, Golf, watching almost any sport, good food and wine.
From time to time I post updates on my races or general news about my training. You can read these posts here
